Where the money comes from
Some payment processors and POS companies run referral programs. When a business signs up with them through a link on our site, they may pay us a fee. Sometimes it is a one-time payment. Sometimes it is a small share of what the provider earns from that account each month.
You pay the provider’s normal published price. Our fee comes out of their marketing budget, not your rate.
What that means for you
- Links to providers are marked. Buttons that say “Visit” go through a link we can track, so the provider knows you came from us.
- We list providers whether or not they pay us. A comparison that only shows companies with referral programs is not a comparison. If a provider fits your business better, we say so, even when it earns us nothing.
- Our picks come from published pricing, contract terms and fit for your type of business. See our editorial policy for how we decide.
What we never do
- Charge you anything.
- Ask for your card numbers or bank details. We never process payments.
- Sell your contact details.
