No price to compare
- Built for lawn businesses only: Yardbook
- Quote only, no published price: FieldEdge, FieldPulse, ServiceTitan, Simpro, Workiz, Zuper
- No quotes, invoices or customer payments: Connecteam
Yearly estimate from each app's published prices and standard card rates, before tax. Cheapest plan that covers your people. Limited-time offers, add-ons and setup fees are not included. US-dollar plans converted at the Bank of Canada rate of 1.4054 (Oct 20, 2026), an estimate. Apps with a missing rate or user limit are listed after the complete ones.
How the calculator works
- It finds each app’s cheapest plan that covers your people (everyone who logs in, office and field). Jobber™ prices by team-size band, Housecall Pro and Kickserv include a set number of users, Tradify and Fergus charge per user, ServiceM8 charges by jobs a month and GorillaDesk by route.
- It converts US-dollar plans to Canadian dollars at the Bank of Canada rate of 1.4054 (Oct 20, 2026). Only Tradify and ServiceM8 publish Canadian prices, so only they skip the conversion. Your card issuer’s foreign-exchange fee isn’t included.
- It skips plans that lack a feature you ticked, using each app’s own plan comparison. If the app doesn’t say, it stays in the list with a warning, ranked after the apps that confirm it.
- It adds a year of card fees on your Canadian-dollar invoices: percentage × average invoice + fixed fee, for each way your customers pay. ServiceM8’s Canadian card rate falls on higher plans, and the calculator uses the rate for the plan it picks.
- It ranks by the yearly total, complete prices first, quote-only apps last with no number.
Not included: sales tax (GST/HST, PST), setup fees, add-ons, hardware, disputes and limited-time offers. Payouts to us never change the order.
Check it by hand
With the defaults (5 people, 50 invoices a month at $400, all paid by card online, monthly billing):
- Jobber Connect (5 users): US$199 × 12 × 1.4054 = $3,356. Card fees: $400 × 2.9% + 30¢ = $11.90 × 50 × 12 = $7,140. Total $10,496.
- ServiceM8 Starter (Canadian dollars, 50 jobs a month, unlimited users): $29 × 12 = $348. Card fees at the Starter rate of 3.1% + 30¢: $7,620. Total $7,968.
Bank payments in Canada
Jobber’s bank (ACH) payments are US only, so the calculator gives Jobber no bank option on this site. Housecall Pro and Kickserv publish bank rates without saying whether they apply in Canada; the calculator uses them but flags it. Most other apps publish no bank rate. If you enter a share of bank payments, apps without a published rate show “rate not published” instead of a total.
Monthly or yearly billing
Choose “pay for the year up front” and the calculator uses each app’s published yearly price, or the monthly price with a note where there isn’t one. Yearly plans in US dollars lock in one exchange rate for the year and are often non-refundable; the calculator flags the ones that say so. Jobber’s 1-year commitment option is on Jobber pricing in Canada.

Common questions
How does the calculator convert US-dollar prices?
It multiplies US-dollar plan prices by the Bank of Canada daily average rate stored with our data and dated on this page. That's an estimate: your card issuer sets the rate you actually pay and usually adds a foreign-exchange fee. Tradify and ServiceM8 publish Canadian prices, so they aren't converted.
Are card fees calculated in Canadian dollars?
Yes. Card fees are worked out on your Canadian-dollar invoices at each app's published rate. Where an app doesn't say whether its fixed fee (often 30¢) is Canadian or US for Canadian accounts, we use the number as published and flag it.
Why don't ServiceTitan, Workiz or FieldEdge show a price?
They don't publish one. ServiceTitan, Workiz, FieldEdge, FieldPulse, Zuper and Simpro quote each business after a demo. We list them without a number rather than guess.
