The bottom line for Canada: open Housecall Pro’s pricing page from Canada and you get a quiz (“Get the right plan”), not prices. The prices below are the ones it publishes for US visitors, in US dollars. Housecall Pro doesn’t say whether Canadian accounts pay in US or Canadian dollars. At the Bank of Canada rate of 1.4054 (Oct 20, 2026), Essentials at US$189 a month is about $266 Canadian. Its Instapay help page sets limits for pros in the United States and Canada, so it does serve Canada.

Housecall Pro’s processing help article gives one set of rates and doesn’t split them by country. It also lists bank (ACH) transfers at 1%, but doesn’t say whether that option works for Canadian customers, so we leave it out above. Because the rates are a percentage with no fixed fee, the “On $400” column is the same in either currency. At 50 invoices of $400 a month paid online, card fees are $598 a month. Contracts, cancelling and the free trial
No long-term contract: “No contracts. No credit card required. Cancel anytime.” Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. The page doesn’t say whether a yearly plan is refunded if you cancel part way, so ask first, especially since a yearly US-dollar payment also locks in that day’s exchange rate. The free trial is 14 days on Max, no credit card.
Extras without a published price
CSR AI, Sales Proposal Tool, Pipeline, Payroll, Accounting. The sales proposal tool is listed as a “$40/mo value” included in Max. Support: live phone and chat on every plan.
Is Housecall Pro worth it in Canada?
Good fit: crews of 2 to 5 who take most payments in person (2.59%, no fixed fee) and are fine with US-dollar pricing.
Think twice if: you want a Canadian-dollar price in writing before you sign, sell maintenance agreements (Max only), or bill business customers who pay by company card (3.49%). Tradify and ServiceM8 publish Canadian prices. The closest like-for-like rival is Jobber™, which also bills in US dollars: see Jobber vs Housecall Pro.

Common questions
Is Housecall Pro available in Canada?
Yes. Housecall Pro's Instapay help page lists a per-transaction limit for pros in Canada. Its pricing page shows Canadian visitors a plan-finder quiz instead of prices.
Does Housecall Pro bill Canadians in US or Canadian dollars?
Housecall Pro doesn't say. The only published prices are in US dollars, and its site has no Canadian pricing page. Ask before you sign up, because a US-dollar plan moves with the exchange rate.
How much does Housecall Pro cost per month?
On its published US-dollar prices: Basic US$79 for 1 user, Essentials US$189 for up to 5 users and Max US$329 for 8 users plus US$35 for each extra user, on monthly billing. Paid yearly they work out to US$59, US$149 and US$299 a month.

2.99% for a card the customer enters online, 2.59% in person, and 3.49% for keyed-in or saved cards, American Express and business cards. There's no fixed fee per payment. Its help article doesn't list separate rates for Canada.
