HVAC software in Canada, priced with maintenance agreements

Maintenance agreements decide which plan an HVAC shop needs, and several apps keep them on the top tier: Housecall Pro has them only on Max, US$329 a month against US$79 for Basic. Only ServiceM8 and Tradify publish Canadian-dollar prices; the rest bill in US dollars.

Updated October 26, 2026 How we check prices Published by Ian Chang We may earn a fee from some providers. It never changes the prices we show or what we recommend. How we rank

The short answer for Canada:

  • The agreements plan is the price that matters. Housecall Pro puts maintenance agreements on Max (US$329 a month), Tradify on Plus ($80 per user), GorillaDesk on Pro, ServiceM8 on Growing ($79), and Service Fusion on Pro or as a US$149 a month add-on to Plus. ServiceTitan keeps memberships in The Works.
  • Our pick for a 5-tech HVAC shop: ServiceM8 Growing, about $7,968 a year in Canadian dollars with card fees. It bills in Canadian dollars and charges by jobs, not technicians.
  • Only Tradify and ServiceM8 publish Canadian-dollar prices. The others bill in US dollars, so their cost moves with the exchange rate; we convert at the Bank of Canada rate of 1.4054 (Oct 20, 2026).
  • 4 apps that run agreements publish no price: ServiceTitan, Workiz, FieldEdge, Simpro.

Jobber™’s pricing page has no row for service or maintenance agreements; we checked its plan table again in a browser on Oct 26, 2026. Fergus, Kickserv and Joist don’t list them by plan either.

What changes for a Canadian HVAC shop

  • Currency: ServiceM8 and Tradify bill in Canadian dollars. Jobber shows Canadians US-dollar prices, and Housecall Pro shows Canadian visitors a plan quiz instead of prices; the prices here are its published US prices.
  • Bank payments: Jobber’s bank (ACH) payments are US only, so Canadian customers paying a Jobber invoice online pay by card at 2.9% + 30¢.
  • Card rates: compare what each app charges Canadian customers on card fees by app.

HVAC dispatch software

For dispatch, the feature that most often sits on a higher plan is GPS tracking of your techs:

ServiceTitan, FieldEdge and Workiz

These three sell through a demo, with no published price. ServiceTitan prices per technician and keeps memberships in The Works; Workiz keeps agreements on Ultimate; FieldEdge lists basic agreements on Select and advanced ones on Premier. See what ServiceTitan charges and what to ask on the call.

Common questions

What is the best HVAC software in Canada?

For a small HVAC shop, the best fit is the cheapest plan that runs maintenance agreements. At our 5-tech example, that is ServiceM8's Growing plan: it bills in Canadian dollars and charges by jobs a month, not by technician. ServiceTitan, FieldEdge and Workiz run agreements but publish no prices.

Which HVAC software bills in Canadian dollars?

Of the apps we track, ServiceM8 and Tradify publish Canadian-dollar prices, and both include maintenance agreements on a mid or top plan (ServiceM8 Growing, Tradify Plus). Jobber, Housecall Pro, GorillaDesk and Service Fusion show prices in US dollars.

How much does HVAC software cost in Canada?

With maintenance agreements included, ServiceM8 Growing is $79 a month in Canadian dollars with unlimited users. Housecall Pro needs Max, US$329 a month for up to 8 users. Card fees on your invoices usually cost more than the software.

Is there any free HVAC software?

ServiceM8 has a free plan for 1 user and 30 jobs a month, priced on its Canadian site, but maintenance agreements start on Growing. Jobber and Housecall Pro offer 14-day free trials with no credit card.
